Side by Side Concert - Monday, May 18th, 2026

The South Jersey Area Wind Ensemble invites superior high school and college student musicians to join the band for an annual concert during which the students sit side-by-side with their teachers and adult musicians. A college band director or US Washington service band conductor has traditionally shared the conducting. Students are invited by members and the board of SJAWE and must be of region/All-State band ability level.

The rehearsals will be held at the Atlantic County Institute of Technology at 5080 Atlantic Avenue in Mays Landing from 7:00PM to 9:00PM. The concert will be performed at ACIT.

Attendance at ALL rehearsals is required. If you are sick for one of the Monday night rehearsals, please send a remind text and report emergency absences to [email protected]
