Larry H. Lang A privilege to work with the South Jersey Area Wind Ensemble. Thank you for keeping the joy of community bands alive and well. Bravo!
Col. Lang is the commander and director of the United States Air Force Band, Washington, D.C. and our 2016 Guest Conductor for our Side-by-Side Concert called, "A Fantasy of Flight." We had 50 of South Jersey's finest high school and college musicians sit side-by-side with the SJAWE.
I just wanted to tell you that I thought the concert was fantastic. It was really entertaining and the crowd loved it. I has a board meeting yesterday at Stockton, and Harvey Kesselman told me that he also was told by a few employees that it was a good show and that the place was packed. Congrats on all your hard work and I really mean that. Ray

From Judy Perkins:
Dear Karen and Ron,
Wanted to tell you that we found last evenings SJAWE Concert
to be thoroughly enjoyable. The music was of course presented
in a very professional manner. It appeared to be both challenging
and thought provoking.
We found the "pre-concert" music performed by Al Atieri,
Jeff Seals, and Michael Marano a very pleasant touch. We would like to suggest
that this become a tradition, and that future concerts begin with various

So glad to be introduced to SJAWE. I'm a fan from now on, and look forward to the April concert. Both grandchildren enjoyed the entire performance, and were tickled to see (their teacher) Mr. Dondero ...
You are all to be commended, for an organization that delivers truly memorable music, beautifully conducted - kudos to both conductors! - impressively performed.

Hi Karen and family,
Last night's program was a smash hit as far as I was concerned. It did set me thinking about many things. Come the spring and I will be sitting in the same place, enjoying another delightful program from SJAWE.
Also wanted to let you know that I found a home for my waiting instruments - the
Absecon School music program. Thanks again for your help.

Thanks again for taking great care of me. Please tell the band how happy I was with what they brought forward for the concert - It was a joyous experience and I could sense each one of them giving it every ounce of attention and energy, I could not have been more pleased. Thanks again to you, Ron, and Keith, all so gracious. It's clear you never rest and South Jersey is very fortunate to have you providing such a great musical opportunity.
Maj. Michelle Rakers, Assistant Director of the United States Marine Band, “The President's Own,” Washington, DC:
The SJAWE concert last evening was one its best. The music selected was emotional, deep and exciting. We especially enjoyed "October", "Symphonic Metamorphosis", Folk Dances" and "As We Forgive". Major Rakers was very, very impressive. It would be great if it were possible to engage her talents again sometime in the future.
The entire ensemble, as well as student performers are to be congratulated for their superb musicianship. To have a group of such considerable numbers perform with such precision is to be applauded. Keep it coming!
Helle and Walt (DePalma)
The music SJAWE selects and performs is wonderful. Some is familiar and some (concert / Lwd park) was new to me, but still a great performance. The Christmas concert (Stockton) was a delight. It's of the highest quality but not 'stuffy.' The audience can see the band is having fun during these performances. That comes across and makes it feel like a family gathering. Bravo...Bravo.
Robert Boileau, Linwood
It was a wonderful, wonderful concert!!! My friend Joanne and I were truly blessed by the beautiful music. We thoroughly enjoyed every moment. It was over all too soon.

A wonderful part of South Jersey! The talent is appreciated and enjoyed!
There is not a need to go to Phailadelphia/New York to listen to incredible music!
Matt and Niva Printy
This Concert was fabulous!
Mrs. Sharon Perna
We were surprised by the size of the band. The program was well designed and we enjoyed the concert.
Richard and Marie DiMeo
It was wonderful! I will attend again!
Great as usual
Very Enjoyable concerts. Programs always interesting.
My wife Patricia and myself forward this small donation for the continuing programming of SJAWE. Our thanks goes to all of your outstanding musicians as well as to yourself, and Keith for bringing such a quality musical program to our region. I was especially proud to observe and listen to my granddaughter Emma Seals perform with the SJAWE in the side by side. aAll should be lauded for their efforts to rear the next generation to performance at the level that was demonstrated at this past Mondays concert. This performance in my book was the best of your best! I pray that all will be encouraged to keep up this outstanding work that adds so much to the quality of our life in this region. My blessings to all.
